My name is Magdalena Wieja and I am the founder of Polish Freelance Interpreting.

I am an enthusiastic linguist who has studied languages since the age of 12, first Russian and then German and English. However, the latter one has always been my favourite. When I went to study English at the University I was fascinated by the British culture, history and literature.

In 2004, I graduated from the University of Economics and Humanity with BA Hons in translation and interpreting. Soon after, my dream of coming and living in the UK came true and I settled in Yorkshire. Since 2006, I have not only been working as an interpreter and translator but also as an English language teacher and an advisor in cultural and diversity issues for both British and Polish people. In February 2009 I decided to become self-employed and work as a Freelance Polish-English Interpreter.

I am a Qualified Member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting.

I offer professional interpreting services for individuals and corporate customers. Should you require any English - Polish or Polish - English interpreting services please do not hesitate to contact me.
